Why Brands Work With Our Silk Dress Factory
In-Line QC
QC checks the garments during sewing instead of waiting until the order is finished. Measurements, stitching, seams, construction and workmanship are checked at different operations, so problems can be identified and corrected before the garments move to the next stage.
18+ Years of Dress Manufacturing
Our factory has been producing dresses since 2007. Pattern making, sampling, cutting, sewing, finishing and inspection are handled in-house.
From Sample to Bulk
We can work from a tech pack, sketch, reference garment, or photo. We develop the pattern first, then make the sample and adjust the fit, measurements and construction before bulk production.
Silk fabric and Trims Sourcing
We source main fabrics, linings, zippers, buttons, trims, and other components based on the construction and target cost.
- Direct Production Communication
You can discuss fabric, measurements, fit, construction and sample changes directly with the team working on the order.
Custom Silk Dress Production for Brands

Customization Services

Labels, care labels, hangtags and packaging are prepared according to the approved artwork and packing instructions. Before production, we check the artwork, label placement, packaging requirements, and sample with your team. These specifications are then passed to the production team and followed during bulk manufacturing and packing, so the finished order matches the approved version.

Our pattern team works from your tech pack, measurements, or reference garment to make the first pattern. During sampling, we check the fit and adjust measurements, proportions, neckline, waist, length, and other construction details where needed. Once the sample is approved, the final pattern is used as the reference for bulk cutting and production.

We source silk and other dress fabrics according to the style and construction of the garment. For each option, we look at weight, drape, hand feel, shrinkage, color availability, and fabric cost before sampling. If you already have a specific fabric in mind, you can send us the fabric details or reference, and we can check suitable suppliers and availability for bulk production.

We can follow your requirements for hangtags, polybags, barcodes, packing ratio, cartons, carton marking and garment packing. You can provide the artwork, packing instructions, carton markings, and other specifications, and we’ll check them before production. A packing sample can be confirmed before bulk packing, then the approved details are passed to the packing team and followed throughout the order.
Bulk Silk Dress Production
Once the sample and fabric are confirmed, the order moves to bulk cutting and sewing. Fabric is checked before cutting, and the cut panels are inspected before they enter the sewing line. Measurements and workmanship are checked during production. Fabric is checked before cutting, and the cut panels are inspected before they enter the sewing line. Silk Fabric Sourcing
You can develop your dress around a specific silk fabric, or ask us to help source an option based on the look, hand feel, target price, and quantity you need.
Common options include:
- Mulberry Silk
- Silk Satin
- Silk Chiffon
- Silk Blend
- Silk Charmeuse
- 12–30 Momme Silk Fabrics
If you are unsure whether a particular silk is suitable for your design, you can send us the reference fabric or target specification. We can check weight, width, construction, lining requirements, and production suitability before sampling.
Our Silk Dress Production Facility
As a profession clothing manufacturer, our sample room has 15 pattern makers and 35 sample technicians. They work on first patterns, sample construction, fitting changes, and pre-production samples before a style moves into bulk cutting.
With a 5,000㎡ garment manufacturing facility, 750 employees, and 5 automatic cutting lines, we handle both smaller custom orders and larger repeat production in the same factory.
From the initial pattern and sample through to bulk production, the main production stages are completed in-house. As your collection grows, additional dress styles can be developed and produced through the same factory. Related silk dress manufacturing services are listed below.

What Affects the Cost of a Custom Silk Dress?
You may receive very different prices for dresses that look almost identical in a photo.
That is because the finished cost depends on much more than the dress style.
The main factors include:
- Silk Type
- Momme
- Fabric Width
- Fabric Consumption
- Dress Length
- Bias Cutting
- Lining
- Zippers and Trims
- Embroidery or Printing
- Order Quantity
- Packaging
- Custom Dyeing
For example, a bias-cut silk dress can require significantly more fabric than a straight-cut design. A fully lined dress will also have different material and sewing costs from an unlined style.
If you have a target cost, send it with the quantity and design. We can check the fabric and construction together and see where the cost can be controlled before sampling.
OEM & ODM Silk Dress Manufacturing
For OEM orders, you send us the tech pack, sketch, measurements, reference sample or fabric specification. We develop the sample and produce the bulk order according to the approved details.
For ODM development, you can start from an existing style or reference and change the fabric, color, length, neckline, sleeves, fit or other details to suit your collection.
OEM Silk Dress Production
As an OEM dress manufacturer, we develop silk dresses based on your:
- Tech Pack
- Sketch
- Reference Sample
- Measurements
- Fabric Specification
We review the information, develop the sample and finalize the production pattern after approval.
ODM Silk Dress Development
You can start with an existing style or reference and discuss the changes with our pattern and sampling team before the sample is made.

Silk Dress Production Considerations
Silk does not behave the same way as cotton or polyester during production. The fabric choice can affect pattern making, cutting, sewing, pressing and the final fit of the dress.
Fabric Weight
Different silk weights change how the dress falls and how much structure it keeps after sewing. We check the fabric weight and hand feel before finalizing the sample, especially for styles that depend on a soft or fluid drape.
Fabric Slippage
Silk satin and chiffon can move during spreading and cutting. The fabric needs to be handled carefully so the panels stay aligned with the approved pattern and grain direction.
Shrinkage
Silk can change slightly after washing or finishing. If shrinkage is a concern, we check the fabric before finalizing the production pattern and allow for the expected change.
Lining
Lining affects more than comfort. It can change the weight, drape and overall feel of the dress. We select the lining based on the silk fabric, garment construction and required finished look.
Pressing
Silk fabrics need more controlled pressing than many common dress fabrics. Temperature, pressure and pressing time are considered during finishing to avoid affecting the fabric surface or garment shape.
Bias Cutting
Bias-cut silk dresses need more attention during pattern making and fabric planning. The cutting direction affects fabric consumption, stretch and the way the finished dress hangs, so the pattern and fabric requirement need to be checked before bulk cutting.
From Design Approval to Bulk Production
We normally take a silk dress order through the following steps, from design review to packing.

We check the tech pack, measurements, fabric, construction details and trims before sampling. If something is unclear or difficult to make, we confirm it before the pattern is developed.

We calculate the price from the fabric, construction, order quantity, trims, labels and packing requirements.

The first sample is used to check fit, fabric, construction and finishing. Any changes are marked before the production pattern is finalized.

After sample approval, fabric is prepared and cut according to the approved pattern. The cut panels then move to sewing and in-line inspection.

QC checks measurements, stitching, construction and workmanship during production. Finished garments are checked against the approved PP sample before packing.

Finished dresses are folded, packed and carton-packed according to the confirmed packing requirements before shipment.
Our Silk Dress Manufacturing Advantages
Our QC team checks garments throughout the production process, from fabric inspection and sample confirmation to sewing, finishing, and final inspection before shipment.
We check key details including measurements, stitching, fabric appearance, construction, labels, and packing against the approved sample and production requirements. If any issue is found, our QC team works with the sewing line to review the problem and make corrections before the order moves to the next stage.
Our designers and pattern makers support brands during the early development stage, from reviewing initial ideas to creating samples. You can share a tech pack, sketch, reference photo, or sample, and we develop the garment based on your requirements. Our team assists with pattern making, fit adjustments, construction details, and sample revisions before production.
We also understand the importance of protecting new designs. Customer samples, patterns, tech packs, and project details are kept confidential and are only used for the specific production they are developed for.
Our MOQ starts from around 50 pieces per style, depending on the fabric choice, construction details, and order requirements. This works well for brands that want to test a new style or build an initial collection with lower risk.
Before production, we review the fabric, colors, size breakdown, labels, and other details to make sure everything is confirmed. For repeat orders, we can discuss quantity adjustments based on your actual sales and stock situation.
We work with fabric suppliers to source materials for different styles, quantities, and target costs. If an available fabric does not fully meet the requirements, we can work with suppliers to develop suitable options, including color, fabric weight, composition, and blend ratio.
Before production starts, we arrange fabric samples for confirmation when required. Once bulk fabric arrives at our factory, our team checks the color consistency, width, surface condition, and other key details before releasing it for cutting.

Inside Our Manufacturing Workshop

 Fabric Warehouse
Fabric rolls are labeled and recorded when they arrive at the factory. Before production, the team checks the quantity, color and fabric condition against the order requirements.
↓

Fabric Inspection
Each fabric roll is inspected by our QC team before entering production. Through the Four-Point Fabric Inspection System, we check color differences, weaving defects, stains, and fabric condition to reduce material issues during garment manufacturing.
↓

Fabric Pre-shrinking
Where the fabric requires pre-shrinking, the material is treated before cutting to control dimensional change. The fabric condition is checked before the production pattern is finalized.
↓

Automatic Cutting
Once the pattern and fabric are approved, the fabric is spread and cut according to the production marker. For printed, directional or bias-cut styles, fabric placement and grain direction are checked before cutting.
↓

Bulk production Sewing
Cut panels are sent to the sewing line and assembled according to the PP sample and production pattern. Sewing operations vary by style, especially for silk dresses with lining, ruching, gathers, zippers or bias-cut sections.
↓

In-line Inspection
During sewing, QC checks measurements, stitching and construction at different operations. If a problem is found, the affected pieces are pulled aside for correction before moving on.
↓

In-line Pressing
Garments are pressed during production to shape seams and key areas before the next operation. For silk styles, pressing temperature and pressure are controlled according to the fabric.
↓

Final Pressing
After sewing and assembly, garments go through final pressing to remove wrinkles and shape key areas. The finishing team also checks seams and other visible details before the garments move to final inspection.
↓

Final Inspection
Finished garments are checked against the approved PP sample and production requirements. The team checks measurements, stitching, construction, labels and overall appearance before the garments are released for packing.
↓

Garment Packing
After inspection, finished garments are folded and packed according to approved packing instructions. Our team handles labeling, barcode application, and customized packaging details before orders are shipped.
↓

Finished Products
Before loading, our warehouse team reviews finished garments by style, color, and size. Carton quantities, labels, and packing details are checked to prevent shipment errors before orders leave the factory.
↓

Container Loading
Cartons are checked against the packing list before loading. The warehouse team arranges the cartons according to the loading plan and checks the stacking order before the container is sealed.

Ready to Develop Your Silk Dress Collection?
Send us your tech pack, sketches, reference samples, fabric requirements, or even a basic product idea.
You can include your target quantity, target price, delivery date, and any special construction requirements. We can review the information and advise you on fabric, sampling, MOQ, construction, and the next production step.
Our usual starting quantity is around 50–100 pieces per style or color. However, the practical MOQ can change when you need custom-dyed silk, special trims, or a new fabric. If your order is smaller, send us the quantity first and we can check what is workable.
Yes. You can send us your preferred fabric, fabric composition, target weight, or even a physical reference. We can check available silk options and compare them based on appearance, hand feel, weight, width, and target garment cost before you approve the sample.
A standard sample normally takes around 5–7 days once the required fabric and production information are available. More complicated construction, custom fabric, special trims, or several rounds of fitting changes can extend the timing, so we normally confirm the schedule after reviewing the design.
Yes. You can send your tech pack, measurement chart, construction drawings, fabric specification, and reference images. Our team checks the information before sampling and will raise questions if a measurement or construction detail is unclear or likely to affect production.
Yes. If you are launching your first collection, you can start with a smaller quantity and develop samples before placing a larger order. We can also help you review fabric, construction, labeling, packaging, and production quantities so you are not committing too early.
Yes. You can provide your own woven labels, size labels, care labels, hang tags, packaging artwork, and packing instructions. These details are confirmed before bulk production so the sewing and packing teams are working from the same approved information.
Quality is checked at several points rather than only at the end. Fabric is inspected before cutting, production is checked during sewing, and finished dresses are reviewed for measurements, workmanship, pressing, appearance, labels, and packing before shipment.
